Extended Story
Born on the shores of Mexico, and continued to be raised on the Puerto Rican mainland, Yolanda Esmeralda is a bright soul who aspired to helping others and making those around her happy. Growing up on a lot of super hero comics and wrestling events on TV, she wanted to become a figure that represented hope and happiness to her people, eventually taking up her school's wrestling team and body building. During one exhibition match, an agent from her favorite wrestling program, Ultra Wrasslin' Federation, had seen her skills and invited her to try for a new character to replace the newly retired Brilho do Sol. She had signed on quickly, without thinking about the catch to it all.
After some time to complete school, enter a new exercise regimen, and acting classes, Yolanda would take to the ring as the new bearer of Brilho do Sol's belt, la justicia (lit. THE JUSTICE). A hero who stands for the pride of Puerto Rico and (later removed) "Defender of All Latino People". Facing off against such heels like Ramses XII, Haz-Woman and Beelzebub (Cecilia Halee). The latter being a big liability for both justicia's career and the reputation of the UWF since the two had started dating behind the scenes. The pressure of the job and the need to keep their wrestler persona's "on" constantly in the light of the public drove to a breaking point. The UWF had planned to kill off one of the two through a viewer vote, but Cecilia had quit the job before, and split from justicia since she felt that she loved the job more than her, and it was preventing her from pursuing her true calling. justicia stepped away from the public for a while. The shining light of justice a dim flicker to those who looked upon her.
With some therapy, and new rules demanded for the sake of the workers, la justicia had returned to entertain and inspire justice to others for a good season on UWF, up until she took the mic at the end of Wrasslfest's big title match against The Wrath, to the shock of her employers. Here, justicia announced her true big finale at Battle Craze, and from there, her retirement from wrestling to other opportunities.
"My light of justice will still shine upon you, but its up to you to shine it down to others!"
