Extended Story
Wallace grew up in a family of esteemed wrestlers, taking up the lineage sport with great ease. His victories got the best of him, as he'd train more and more until the point of exhaustion. Such stress on his body didn't stop him though, up until his title match against Gigant the Tower, in 1900.
During the first round, Wallace had a heart attack, and passed out. Paramedics arrived, trying to revive him, but something else would wake him up. In his coma-state, a figure he says "with horns adorned and skin of red", offered to bring him back to life if he "embraced his curse". He accepted to finish the match against Gigant, but when he awoke, his body mutated. His muscles increased tenfold, his hair fell out, and his eyes turned a sunken red. With a savage scream, he tackled Gigant in a sudden rage and killed him then and there. Ongoers tried to stop him, but eventually decided to evacuate the premises as he was cleaning house.
Wallace felt very weird after this incident. Trying to find seclusion in the city streets to avoid contact with others. Looking at people made him imagine how easy it was to take another life. Eventually, he was approached by a woman with a cold aura. She offered him a contractual job to kill her EX. Without much of a reason, he took the job, and completed it without much haste. He, felt oddly better about this, as he had some purpose behind his actions. The woman contracted Wallace to more jobs, and eventually, Wallace asked for a job, in exchange for shelter. He was offered the roof of the Grand Geists Manor, an agency of hitmen for hire with supernatural abilities. She had tested him for the job in secret. Since then, Wallace has been a frequent hire for those who wish for a painful end to their enemies.
Recently, Wallace has been contracted by an anonymous figure to take out the founder of Battle Craze, Isabella Marisa Gardet. This contract will take him to a field of battle worthy of his strength.
"Hehehehe.. I don't usually mix business with pleasure, but I'm REALLY going to enjoy this.."
Movelist
Mobility | |||
---|---|---|---|
Dash | |||
Unique Trait | |||
Tough Guy | Various moves Wallace has feature super armor, meaning he won’t flinch during the startup of these attacks, and take reduced damage. He will flash red when he has active super armor. | ||
Input | Move Name | Description | Dire Counter |
Craze Technique | |||
SP+SK | Mephisto Seben (Mephisto Seven) | Wallace sticks his finger out quickly. If it hits a projectile, he'll fire a quick one back made from demonic energy. If it hits the opponent, he'll fire off a muzzle flare in a hitgrab fashion. Because of what his old mentor told him before his last match, "The only way you're gonna take out Gigant there is if you brought a gun to the ring. But that's against the rules." and him using his body as a gun brings great bravado to him. So much so it quickens his Potential Health gain. | |
Throws | |||
LP+LK | Not Unlike Garbage! | Wallace raises the opponent up and breaks their spine on his knee. | |
b.LP+LK | Astaroth Trample | Wallace walks over the opponent to switch sides, then kicks them away. | |

623P | Mondherrschaft (Moon Domination) | Wallace readies his fist, and swings a huge haymaker. Armored. LP is quicker, and OTGs. SP is slower, but causes more Guard damage. | Groundbounce |
22P | Friedhofsbeben (Graveyard Quake) | Wallace pounds the ground. A full screen quake move that can be avoided by jumping or simply crouching. SP is a fakeout. Armor on both. | Stagger |
2(C)8K | Turmbrecher (Tower Breaker) | Wallace jumps and then stomps with the weight of his entire body. Button determines distance of the jump. Overhead. | Crumple |
63214P | Unterwelt Zerbrechen (Underworld Shatter) | A long range command grab where Wallace headbutts the opponent. Results in a Stagger if you didn't cancel into this move off of a hit confirm. Can’t be done at close range (Think Raven’s grab from Xrd) LP is standing, SP is anti-air. | Stagger |
All-Out Attacks | |||
236236P | Volldampf Voraus! (Full Steam Ahead!) | Wallace gets red and bellows smoke from his nostrils, then headbutts forwards. A single hitting attack packed with armor. Wallbounces, but because of Wallace’s recovery animation, you won’t follow this up so easily. | |
236236K | Trauerzug (Funeral March) | Wallace stomps angrily three times forward before sending off with a football punt. OTGs, no armor. | |
All-Out EX | |||
236236LP+SP | Volldampf Voraus EX! (Full Steam Ahead EX!) | You can hold down the button to increase the amount of hits for the attack. A full charge leads to a Guard Shatter on block. | |
All-Out Destruction | |||
632146LP+SP | Das Ende der Tage (End of Days) | Wallace menacingly walks forwards before grabbing. Wallace then throws the opponent into the sky, leaps incredibly high, then slams the opponent into the ground with an earth-shattering impact. |
Side-L Changes
Unique Trait | |||
---|---|---|---|
Memento Mori | Several of Wallace's moves can be charged by holding the button (Eisbrecher, Todesgerat, Mondherrshaft, Friedhofsbeben, Schwerer Aufprall), granting him armor that can tank several hits during the charge, but having no armor once they're active. Charged moves also have extra properties. | ||
Craze Technique | |||
SP+SK | Schwerer Aufprall (Grave Impact) | Command grab. Wallace tosses the opponent upwards, then punches them on the way down. The start-up has armor and can be held to increase its range slightly and reward a guaranteed Wallbounce. Has a Wallbounce Dire Counter. | |
Specials | |||
236K | Achilles Hell | Wallace will stomp forwards. LK version stomps once, SK version has an additional kick afterwards. | Stagger (LK), Spinout (SK) |
All-Out Attacks | |||
63214LP+SP | Offener Sargzerstörer (Open Casket Smasher) | Command grab super. Wallace will raise the opponent up and then slam them into the earth. Wallace will then kick them out for the finishing blow. | |
Removed Moves | |||
"Turmbrecher," “Trauerzug” |
Side-S Changes
Unique Trait | |||
---|---|---|---|
Der Rasenmahermann | Wallace's Craze Techniques have armor, meaning he won't flinch when hit and converts some of the damage he receives into Guard Pressure. The higher Wallace's Guard Meter is, the more damage he deals. When his Guard Meter is red, his attacks will cause their Dire Counter effects. | ||
Craze Technique | |||
SP+SK | Nebel | Wallace stands upright and starts fuming steam from his nostrils. During this stance, Wallace can increase his Guard Pressure to empower Der Rasenmahermann, as well as armor through attacks during the hold. | |
6SP+SK | Laufende Mann | Wallace stomps forwards, allowing him to armor through attacks while advancing forwards. | |
Specials | |||
236/214K | Nachtflieger | Wallace jumps up and strikes downwards with both of his legs. This attack can either jump forwards with 236, or backwards with 214. | Groundbounce |
All-Out Attacks | |||
63214LP+SP | Der Mangler | Command grab super. Wallace will raise the opponent up and then slam them into the earth. Wallace will then kick them out for the finishing blow. Unlike Offener Sargzerstörer, you can combo after this move as they are launched upwards after the last hit. | |
Removed Moves | |||
"Turmbrecher" “Trauerzug”, "Offener Sargzerstörer" | Note: The rest of Wallace's moves are renamed in this Side, but work the same way they do in Side-C, albeit with the armor from Der Rasenmahermann. |
Concept
Wallace's name has slightly changed throughout his conception, but the image of a huge bald man in a suit has not. Despite being a big figure, his moveset isn't grappler oriented. He fits a niche more akin to Juggernaut of the Versus series.
Trivia
- Wallace's birthday, October 31st, is shared with the popular holiday, Halloween.
